4.26.23 – Greetings to all HCS peeps!

After celebrating our 20th year as a band for the better part of 2022, we’ve kicked off 2023 in fine fashion.

We’ve rocked some splendid shows so far this year, playing a winter weekender with our homies The Pietasters, a proper NYC spring show with our droogies of darkness Mephiskapheles, and rocking the amazing (and SOLD OUT) This Is Not Croydon Fest 4 where we shared the stage with the likes of such badass bands as Fishbone, The Slackers, Against All Authority, Catch 22, and Catbite!

As for what we’ve got coming up on the spring/summer horizon, live wise:

– A Texas weekender including Dallas, Austin, & Houston, May 19th through 21st.

– An appearance at the 16th Annual Hurricane Party in Sanford, FL on May 27th.

– A West Coast tour in the works for July (stay tuned for more details)

– We’ll be joining our old pals Bigger Thomas for some dates to celebrate their 35th anniversary.

So be sure to peep out our Tour page for details on all that aforementioned live action as it’s announced.

Also, later this year we will be taking part in the DROOG DON’T RUN project; an all star conglomeration featuring current and former members of Hub City Stompers, former members of Inspecter 7, and members of The Skoidats. Droogs Don’t Run will be making its debut appearance at the 2023 Supernova International Ska Festival in Virginia, alongside a line up of bands that you have to read to believe (which you can so via https://www.supernovaska.com/ …check it out!).

Outside of our live action, here’s what’s been happening RELEASE wise:

In re-release news, our first three albums, which have been painfully absent from most, if not all, digital platforms for years now, have finally been released on all digital platforms via Stubborn Records.  So you can now find our first album from 2004 (“Blood, Sweat, & Beers”), our second album from 2005 (the “Mass Appeal” EP), and our defining third album from 2006 (“Dirty Jersey”), on all digital platforms.

Also, as April 20th marked the 5th anniversary of our 6th album “Haters Dozen”, to celebrate that milestone we released “Haters Dozen” ON VINYL via Hellminded Records! Be sure to pick up your copy of this limited run HERE before they’re all gone:

And last, but certainly not least, we’ve been working on writing and recording ALBUM NUMBER 8, which we’re hoping to release this year.  Be on the look out for news on this one, it’s gonna be off the pike!

We’ll pop in with another update soon enough and keep youz in the loop with more details on the progress of album #8 and with more tour announcements and updates!

Til then, stay well, and we’ll see you at the shows!

1.25.22 – Belated happy 2022, From HCS!

It’s been a while, so we figured we’d check in with a new year update and let ya know what we’re looking to get up to this year.

It’s been a weird time with HCS, as it’s been with most bands, and 2021 saw us return to live action after a 20 month moratorium on our shows due to the pandemic and related complications.  The few shows we played in the last few months of 2021 were confined to the Northeast but they were some doozies and good times (including plays in NJ, NYC, CT, and at the 2021 Supernova International Ska Fest).

With 2022 seeing our 20TH ANNIVERSARY AS A BAND (that’s right, HCS will be the ripe ol’ age of 20 years this summer) there will definitely be more HCS action this year. We’ll be hitting the road with more live shows & tour plans, including:

– Kicking of the year at Froggy Daze Masquerade Ball 3 (along with some close friends like Pilfers and Typhoid Rosie)

– Ushering out the end of winter with a long awaited return to FLORIDA.

– Sizing up a return to the West Coast.

– Returning to the UK.We’ll also be acknowledging this 20 year milestone with some rereleases in various formats such as:

– “Haters Dozen” on vinyl- Our first 3 albums (“Blood, Sweat, & Beers”, “Mass Appeal”, and “Dirty Jersey”), currently in limbo, will be rereleased on Stubborn Records in various formats and will again be widely available digitally.

Aaaaand we’ll also be writing a lot of brand new material and debuting it live, so be sure to hit the shows to get your first listen of new HCS music!

So keep your eyes & ears open on your friendly neighborhood dirty Jersey ska hooligans.  It’s gonna be a fun 20th!

Thanks to everyone who has supported us and been down with us these couple decades. We’re here for you. And to the haters that ain’t down, that’s cool… just stay the fuck out of our way.

– HUB CITY STOMPERS “Hate All You Want, We’ll Make More”

11.13.19 – Blood, Sweat and Years.

Just in time for the holidays, HCS has a special present for ya!

Our 7th album “Blood, Sweat, and Years” is due for release November 29th on Altercation Records!

This banger of an album is a 15th anniversary acknowledgement of our debut CD “Blood, Sweat, and Beers” which was released in 2004.  This homage includes re-recorded, new versions of most of the “Blood, Sweat, and Beers” tracks, as well as re-recorded, new versions of the entirety of the second HCS album, our “Mass Appeal” EP (2005).  With both of these 2 original albums unavailable and out of print, you can now enjoy all your favorite tracks redone with updated performance and production of today’s HCS.

And to sweeten the pot further, “Blood, Sweat, and Years” includes NEW and previously unrecorded songs thrown into the mix.

So brace yourselves.  15 tracks of dirty Jersey hooligan Ska are coming at ya hard.

Happy Holidays, droogies.  We’ll see you soon…

1.3.19 – Happy New Year from your dirty Jerz ska squad, Hub City Stompers.

2018 was a dope one with the release of a new album (Haters Dozen), the chance to get out and about for some touring and great shows & fests, and the inter-bandcest marriage of our own Jenny Whiskey and Rod Gorgeous. We’re looking to have 2019 be along the same lines, but better.  Here’s some HCS thaaangs you can look forward to for 2019: *We’ll be hitting the studio yet again to put together something awesome for yaz: A 15 year anniversary acknowledgement of our 2004 debut album (Blood, Sweat, & Beers) which will be called “BLOOD, SWEAT, & YEARS”, and will contain select tracks from “Blood, Sweat, & Beers”, the “Mass Appeal” EP, and a couple new jammies, all newly recorded and produced with the current line up and some special guest HCS alumni.  Since “Blood, Sweat, & Beers” & “Mass Appeal” have been out of print for a while and unavailable via most digital sources even, we figured we’d bring them back in the best way possible.  We’re aiming for a Fall 2019 release for “Blood, Sweat, & Years” so be on the lookout. *We’ll be hitting the road out west this spring.  Yeah, we were just in Cali last summer but, hey… we love it… and this upcoming tour will also kick off in a region of the USA that’s been ever elusive for HCS: the Pacific Northwest!  Hitting that corner is looooong overdue (haven’t been since the Inspecter 7 days!) so we shall be doing so with a vengeance.  Also been too long since we hit southwest spots like Vegas and Phoenix so they’ll be targeted in our sights as well. *Not to release too many details until all is set & confirmed, but it’s looking like we’ll be getting a lil’ international again this year as well…. stay tuned.

I guess that’s all for now.  Please peep out the website or our facebook event page for upcoming shows.  Here’s a couple we’ll mention coming up on the horizon:Our first show of 2019 will be the Joe Zippo Memorial Show in Salem, MA.   Come out to witch town for a greta cause and a great line up!On April 13th we’ll be playing the Northeast Oi! Fest in Wallingford, CT.  Our it is Saturday the 13th but there will be 3 nights of off-the-hook line ups going on so be sure to come out and party all weekend! See youz on the road…

11.18.18 – Well, first point of news I guess…. WE HAVE A WEBSITE (y’know, what you’re on right now).

So welcome.  Hope it does the job!
We’ll be wrapping up 2018 with our final show of the year on December 8th: a holiday show in sweet home dirty Jerz.  Check out our show page for details.
Gearing up for 2019:
This winter will be on the slower side as far as playing out is concerned, but it’s not just because we’re hiding from the cold.  We will be hitting the studio to record album #7!  There will be more details to follow as to just what that album is gonna be, so stay tuned to our news.
There will also be some major show/fest announcements fro 2019, so keep your eyes and ears peeled for those as well.
